Our ‘La Papillon Boudoir’ was inspired by a visit to the Parc National du Mercantour, a French national park located in the French Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes departments.
This highly protected conservation area covers over 600km of rolling valleys, with walking trails that extend into 28 little neighboring villages. With over 150 Butterfly and Moth species, a vast variety of wildlife (even wolves and golden eagles!), spectacular lakes and over 2000 species of flowering plants, the setting can only be described as magnifique!
